NEW, EXPANDED SCHEDULE BEGINS OCTOBER 1ST!
We are quickly closing in on our two year anniversary and it’s been quite a ride. The growth has been unbelievable. Currently, more than 500 of you call Incendia your “box,” we have over 12 different programs, hold 115 classes each week, provide supervised KidCare for 67 of those classes and employ a staff of 27. It’s quite an operation. One of the things that has kept Incendia one of the fastest-growing and largest CrossFit boxes in Arizona is that we’re dedicated to always being the best in the business. From premium equipment to space to supervised KidCare to different class offerings to expanded programs, we strive to give you the very best CrossFit experience possible, inside and outside of the box.
On October 1, 2014, we will expand our schedule once again. This time we’re focusing on our Olympic Lifting, Strongman, CrossFit Kids and CrossFit Teens Programs.
First, we’re adding “Incendia Barbell” on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This class will be led by USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coaches: BV, Logan and Nick. The IBC is open to CrossFitters only and will focus on programmed snatch, clean & jerk and accessory work. The order of priority will be Technique-Intensity-Volume. Like all of our Specialty Classes, there is no extra charge for Incendia Barbell. Coach BV will review all the guidelines for the class (commitment, double WODs, expectations, programming, etc) at the first meeting on Thursday, October 2nd. If you are at all interested in Incendia Barbell, you’ll want to come to this informational and work session.
Second, because of it’s wild popularity, we have added Incendia Strongman to the schedule permanently on Thursdays at 10am. Open to men and women, Coach Don will teach you how to “Lift Heavy Sh*t.” There is no need to be intimidated, he’s got tires, sandbags, atlas stones and dumbbells for everyone. Come prepared to work hard, do cool stuff and have a lot of fun! Once again, there is no extra charge for this Specialty Class. Yep, it’s included with your membership….along with CrossFit Yoga, CrossFit Endurance, Open Gym, Incendia Barbell and Matt’s MOB(ility).
Next, we have added to and streamlined our CrossFit Kids program. Our goal here was to group the children into better age categories to match skill levels so that we can teach more, while adding a Tot program. CrossFit Tots is for children ages 2-3 AND their parents. Parental involvement is encouraged and expected with this age range. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:00pm. The Explorers class is for children ages 4-7. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-5:30pm. The Young Heroes class is for children ages 8-12. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursday from 5:30-6:00pm. CrossFit Kids Punch Cards are $80 for 10 Classes and the first class is always free. You and your CrossFit Kid will LOVE our CrossFit Kids Classes!
Finally, so that we could expand the Kids Program during a time the gym is dedicated to Kids and Teens, we moved our Teens Class up by a half an hour. Tuesday and Thursday classes will begin at 3:30pm and end at 4:30pm. Because of this, it will be necessary to end Open Gym time on Thursdays at 3:30pm. Saturday Teens Classes will continue to be held at 8:00am.
We hope that you enjoy the changes and the flexibility offered by the new schedule. Can you believe our first schedule only had 32 classes on it! Wow, that seems like a lifetime ago!

Also…I am really interested in having my 2.5 year old try out the Tot Class…does it start tomorrow (Thursday, October 2nd)?
